Schools

As a team of qualified and trained staff and volunteers, we aim to partner with schools to deliver elements of the Religious Education syllabus on Christianity whilst enhancing the personal, social, spiritual and moral aspects of the curriculum. All our material is produced by qualified teachers and youth workers and we deliver all our initiatives completely free of charge.

We offer this in three ways:

Assemblies – intergenerational storytelling; interactive and engaging presentations; opportunities for reflection on themes linked to the 6R’s and school values.

Curriculum days – experiential learning for an entire year group, structured around an open & closing session with four workshops delivered on rotation in between; the opportunity to develop their faith literacy through dramatized storytelling and craft activities; opportunities for enquiry, questioning and personal reflection.

Lessons – bespoke RE lessons on request; preparatory lessons for our Year 5 curriculum day; transition lessons for Year 6 & 7 students.

All our curriculum sessions are delivered in line with the Manx RE syllabus and students are always given opportunities to think through their own beliefs; they are never told what they should or shouldn’t believe.
