Hours per week – 24 hours. Part time | Isle of Man | £33,366 – £38,626 per annum pro rata | Start date on or after 1st July 2025.
We are looking for an experienced person with pastoral and management skills to lead our motivated team, networking with churches and schools, overseeing and providing logistical support for existing work in schools and the innovation of new work according to the vision, aims and objectives of the charity. The successful candidate will have pastoral experience, as well as experience in line managing staff and in project management. They will be a highly competent organiser, with good written skills and able to communicate well with staff, the education and faith communities as well as charity supporters. The role will carry various responsibilities including motivating, coaching and inspiring our associate team, from many Christian denominations, as well as leading by example in commitment to work with children and young people, consistent with Scripture Union Ministry Trust’s mission. As this is a senior position within SUMT, which is an ecumenical organisation, accountability and responsibility will be to the SUMT Trustees, therefore those who SUMT deem to have a conflict of interest would not be considered for this position.
